Shama Health is a Brisbane-based specialist psychiatry and mental health service delivering collaborative, evidence-based care across Queensland via telehealth. Our practice is built around a multidisciplinary model in which consultant psychiatrists work closely with experienced mental health nurse practitioners. This structure allows us to provide timely, thorough assessments and ongoing management without compromising clinical depth. Every patient journey begins with a GP referral, followed by careful triage, and is supported at every stage by clinicians who communicate proactively with the broader treating team.

What We Treat

Shama Health specialises in adult and child psychiatry, including assessment and management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), dual diagnosis pathways, and general adult mental health conditions. Our fee-for-service model is transparent, and Medicare rebates are available for eligible consultations.

We see adults and children across Queensland who require specialist psychiatric assessment or ongoing mental health management. We work closely with GPs seeking structured specialist support for their patients, and with individuals seeking clarity on complex presentations that benefit from a thorough diagnostic process. Telehealth appointments make our services accessible statewide, with an in-person Brisbane clinic planned in the near future.
